Thanks to the great people at MEIC we’re looking for someone with some great PHP skills to improve our custom software. It’s a short- term paid internship that will provide the successful contact with some groovy networking opportunities. The software has been used on some of our projects but we’re looking to take it into a new market, read about the position below.

Wero Creative is a startup that is looking for an intern that add functionality to an existing PHP-based custom CMS. The current CMS is designed for the educational market and needs revisions to enter the new exiting world of locative media.

We are looking for someone who knows PHP and has a keen interest in the growing field of locative media.

This is an internship that will allow the successful applicant to work from home, or a cafe, or wherever one desires. You must be a capable independent worker that can meet deadlines. There will be frequent check-ins (likely over Skype) and required written reports on work completed.

You will be able to use your own computer and thus the software of your choice to work on the project.  

- Knowledgeable in PHP and MySQL
- Familiar with a LAMP setup
- Familiar with locative media or interested in locative media
- Can work independently
- Strong writing skills for written reports
- Meet deadlines
